When moving to the U.S. from New Zealand. I previously built and managed a non-profit from the ground up. My heart was set on finding a meaningful way to serve. In 2024, stepping into leadership with Stand Strong Alabama ignited a renewed fire: a mission to serve, uplift, and bring lasting hope to our local community.
Originally established as a haven for domestic violence survivors, our foundation's legacy of deep compassion remains our bedrock. As we relaunch and evolve our scope toward sustainable living, recycling right, and holistic health and wellness, foundational care is as alive as ever. While our current energy is devoted to building vibrant wellness and sustainability programs, it is my heartfelt vision to bring back targeted survivor initiatives when the right specialized leadership and resources are in place.
This work is profoundly personal to me. Every day, as I walk my own path of fitness, health, and intentional living, I am reminded of how deeply interconnected our personal well-being is with the world around us. Guided by Proverbs 3:18, we choose to stand as a tree of life for our community, fostering radiant health, energy, and renewal for every family and neighbor we touch. Stepping into this bold new chapter takes courage, but as Scripture promises, if God is for us, who can ever be against us? Driven by this passion, I know that together, we will always Stand Strong.

It is an honor to serve as a Director of Stand Strong Alabama, doing business as EarthWell Foundation. I believe that true community well-being starts at the intersection of personal health and environmental stewardship. Every day, the choices we make, how we nourish our bodies, move our physical selves, and care for the world around us, determine the vitality of the world we leave behind for future generations.
EarthWell Foundation was built on the belief that you cannot separate individual human health from the health of our environment. Clean air, pure water, and thriving ecosystems directly impact our physical energy, agricultural quality, and daily quality of life. Through inclusive lifestyle wellness gatherings, community fitness pop-ups, and practical, waste-free living habits, we are empowering individuals and families to take simple, joyful steps toward holistic living.
Our vision is to inspire our neighbors, local businesses, and community leaders to embrace active health and responsible environmental care through real, everyday action. Legacy is not measured by what we take from the world, but by the vitality, strength, and resilience we build together. Serving as a Director of Stand Strong Alabama, doing business as EarthWell Foundation, is a deeply meaningful opportunity to contribute to a cause greater than myself. Through my service in the Alabama Army National Guard, I have learned that true leadership is rooted in action, duty, teamwork, and placing the needs of our community first. Those core values naturally shape my dedication to our foundation's vision.
I believe that every individual has the power to make a lasting difference, whether through hands-on service, practical sustainability, or support for wellness initiatives.
